5 Trends Anyone Can Pull Off Right Now

Fashion truly goes in and out of different seasons when it comes to trends. That is what I love about the change; all of the styles evolving and growing into something new. What I find interesting is that there are trends from the 60’s-80’s rising back to the surface. When they say trends always come back, they always do. Here are my top five trends that I have been loving this season.

The first trend that I have seen everywhere is corduroy. It is such a playful material that spices up any outfit. It could be in a jacket or even pants, the options are endless when it comes to styling. Pair with a plain or patterned tee to add interest into the look.

The second trend is tailored suiting. I have never seen it in such a way that you can dress it down as well as up. The type of tailored suiting that I am talking about is not your typical suit. Add a belt to spice it up or pair with a fun bag.

My third trend is cheetah. It is one of those patterns that are not too in your face since it is a neutral, but it is such a statement piece at the same time! There are so many variations of cheetah print, that makes it such a fun print to style.

Even though florals are normally a fall pattern, introduce it to the fall season. I am talking about a deeper value floral so that it does look more appropriate for the upcoming season. With ruffles and layers taking a toll this season as well, floral is the perfect pattern to make it all happen.

Metallics have been in for some time now, and it is continuing to make it’s way into this season. I love how much interest a metallic shoe or jacket could give. It is not something that you would think to be an everyday piece, but get ready for it to be. Having a cool puffer jacket in the material is a perfect fashion piece to put over any old basic outfit.

Even those weekend afternoons where you don't feel like getting fully dressed up, throw on a cute athletic look and toss your hair up in a ponytail, and you're good to go! More so now then any other time, I do this on my days off when I have tons of errands to do and just don't feel like over dressing. Growing up I hated turtlenecks! Real talk, but now I think their classic winter pieces. I love how they make a pair of trousers casual. When it comes to trousers I'm weird about that material their made from. These burnt orange trousers from Neon Roses are made from the softest material ever! With just the width to them they pair so well with something oversized. In this case a boxy cut sweater. I recently found the brand Neon Roses on Flagship Market.  A place where a variety of different designer brands can be found! More on them coming to the blog soon!
